I am a multi-disciplinary artist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, based in Oregon, United States, who has danced and taught professionally for the past fourteen years. I have studied various movement mediums and use dance to give form to imagination, sound waves, geometry and I believe that during this time I have learned as much as I have taught.
As an educator I have taught in over 10 countries around Europe, North and South America. I was the Keynote presence at the 18-2019 IYLC - International Youth Leadership Conference for Middle and High School that welcomed over 500 participants from all nine Portland Public Schools and representing over 80 countries/languages, teaching them about leadership, career and most of all their important role to a diverse culture and community. I have also led workshops, masterclasses and residencies on Hip Hop and Contemporary Festivals like WOD - World of Dance (ARG), H2K - Rio Hip Hop Kemp (BRA), Dança em Trânsito (BRA) and many others.
As a performer I was part of acclaimed companies in Brazil and had performed all over the world and in several important dance festivals and theater such as Theatre de La Ville in Paris. I was also part of the creative movement team for the Olympic Opening Ceremony 2016 and the Entertainment Leader of the dance crew during the beach volleyball games.
I am the founding artistic director of ELa FaLa Collective and as a Director/Choreographer I had my works performed in countries like Italy, France, Brazil and the United States.
I am passionate about finding different forms and tools to be present in our own bodies and minds, and to raise the level and quality of artistic movement of all students who cross my path.
